SUDBURY DESERVES A FULL TIME MP
CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE FRED SLADE TURNS DOWN GOOD GREEN DEBATE BECAUSE OF TAX SEASON
Sudbury – The Carol Hartman Campaign today learned from Good Green Debate organizers that the Conservative Party candidate will not attend due to his busy tax practice. We believe that the people of Sudbury deserve a full time Member of Parliament and that any candidate who is not willing to dedicate their efforts full time to the people of Sudbury doesn’t deserve to be their MP.
“The Conservatives are clearly out of touch. A Member of Parliament makes a significant wage and should do their job full time. I have been on leave from my law practice since the campaign began and have put all my time and efforts in to earning the mandate from the people of Sudbury riding. ” stated Carol Hartman, Liberal candidate. “You have to wonder, if the Conservative candidate is elected, what will he tell the people who need his help next year in March or April, that they have to wait until after May 1st” she added.
“We have an NDP MP who was among the most absent in Parliament already, now the Conservative candidate refuses to debate and continues his business during the election. I will work full time now and after I am elected as the MP.” Hartman concluded.
